Services & Treatments
I listen to your body and facilitate the system that needs support at that time. So each session is integrated with the treatments below completely custom to you.
Lymph Drainage Massage
Lymphatic drainage massage can have profound effects. According to a lymph system article by Jon Barron, lymphatic massage can increase the volume of lymph flow by as much as 20 times, vastly increasing the system's ability to remove toxins and infectious materials. Studies have found lymphatic drainage massage to be a medically beneficial form of physical therapy for a range of lymphedema-related problems.
Zero Balancing
Zero Balancing focuses primarily on key joints of our skeleton that conduct and balance forces of gravity, posture and movement. By addressing the deepest and densest tissues of the body along with soft tissue and energy fields, Zero Balancing helps to clear blocks in the body’s energy flow, amplify vitality and contribute to better postural alignment. A Zero Balancing session leaves you with a wonderful feeling of inner harmony and organization.
Prenatal/Pregnancy Massage
Prenatal massage shares many of the goals of regular massage – to relax tense muscles, ease sore spots, improve circulation and mobility, and just make you feel good. But it's also tailored specifically to the needs of pregnant women and their changing bodies.
Craniosacral Therapy
CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance. It was pioneered and developed by Osteopathic Physician John E. Upledger after years of clinical testing and research at Michigan State University where he served as professor of biomechanics. Using a soft touch which is generally no greater than 5 grams – about the weight of a nickel – practitioners release restrictions in the soft tissues that surround the central nervous system. CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and it''s effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction.
Reflexology
Reflexology is a therapy based on the principle that there are small and specific areas of innervation in the hands and feet that correspond to specific muscle groups or organs of the body. In this system, the nerve endings in the extremities provide a "map" of the rest of the body. Through the application of pressure on particular areas of the hands or feet, reflexology can promote benefits such as the relaxation of tension, improvement of circulation, and support of normalized function in the related area in the body.
Corrective Medical
Medical massage is useful in addressing conditions such as: Carpal tunnel syndrom, rotator cuff injuries, pain associated with bulged or injured spinal disks ( medical massage cannot ‘fix’ the disk, but can help alleviate much of the pain associated with the injury ), migraines/headaches, constipation, range of motion issues, Plantar fasciitis ( foot pain ), repetitive use injuries such as tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow, TMJ, pain associated with restricted fascia, sports/exercise injuries, auto/work injuries, edema (swelling), PTSD ( Post Traumatic Stress Disorder ) Promotes circulation & hydration by releasing your stuck fascia. It lengthens and stretches muscles. It flushes out left over ‘gunk’ & residue from inflammation, allowing proper blood flow for faster healing time, leaving your body feeling free & more fluid.
Special Needs
Children with disabilities often experience muscular problems which can lead to lack of sleep among other issues. An effective program of massage can help provide parents and children alike with a good night's sleep. Touch is a wonderful way to communicate caring. I bring my full personal experience and understanding into each session. The massage sessions are set up in such a way as to facilitate the child's trust and individual needs.
Myofascial
Myofascial Release is a very effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion. Using gentle pressure applied slowly will allow a viscoelastic medium (fascia) to elongate. Trauma, inflammatory responses, and/or surgical procedures create fascial restrictions that can produce tensile pressures of approximately 2,000 pounds per square inch on pain sensitive structures that do not show up in many of the standard tests (x-rays, myelograms, CAT scans, electromyography, etc.)
Neuromuscular
Neuromuscular therapy is a specialized form of deep tissue massage in which pressure and friction are used to release areas of strain in the muscle. It is very detailed massage of muscles, tendons, ligaments, connective tissue, etc. Precise and focused therapy that releases problem areas that can be missed by general massage.
Trigger Point Therapy
A trigger point is a tight area within muscle tissue that causes pain in other parts of the body. A trigger point in the back, for example, may produce referral pain in the neck. The neck, now acting as a satellite trigger point, may then cause pain in the head. The pain may be sharp and intense or a dull ache.
Trigger point massage therapy is specifically designed to alleviate the source of the pain through cycles of isolated pressure and release. In this type of massage for trigger point therapy, the recipient actively participates through deep breathing as well as identifying the exact location and intensity of the discomfort.

Applied Kinesiology - Muscle Testing: Nutritional Health Scan
Applied kinesiology is a form of diagnosis using muscle testing as a primary feedback mechanism to examine how a person's body is functioning. Throughly evaluating all the underlying cause(s) of a problem, chemical, mental and structural factors - to find the proper balance of the health.
Cold Laser
Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) is the use of red and near-infrared monochromatic light to enhance the body’s natural healing processes. The light source is placed in contact with the skin, allowing the light energy (photons) to penetrate tissue where it interacts to increase circulation and help restore normal cellular function. Some of the many benifits of laser therapy is pain management, reduction of swelling/inflammation, acceleration of the healing damaged tissue, increased immune system function.
Detox Bath
An ionized foot bath designed to restore the body's energy and balance, while facilitating and aiding the body's natural detoxification process. It balances and restores the body's Ph and electromagnetic energy. How it works: The copper array conducts direct current into the water and generates an ionic field that transfers into the body. The bubbles coming from the array indicate the ionic field is being created as the hydrogen and oxygen particles separate. Warm water allows feet to sweat, opening the pores, and allowing a greater absorption rate through the skin.
Kinesiotaping
Kinesiology tape is a thin, stretchy, elastic cotton strip with an acrylic adhesive. Therapeutic kinesiology tape that can benefit a wide variety of musculoskeletal and sports injuries, plus inflammatory conditions. Kinesiology tape is almost identical to human skin in both thickness and elasticity, which allows kinesio tape to be worn without binding, constricting or restriction of your movement. Kinesiology tape is an that is used for treating athletic injuries and a variety of physical disorders. For the first decade after its introduction practitioners in Japan were the main users of the therapeutic kinesiology tape. By 1988 the tape had been adopted by Japanese Olympic and professional athletes before spreading across the world.
Infrared Sauna
Far infrared rays are invisible to the naked eye, but are felt as heat. Unlike ultraviolet rays, far infrared does not cause sunburn, lead to skin cancer, or harm the body in ANY way. In fact, it offers a host of health benefits. Far infrared rays penetrate deep into the skin (to a depth of 1 1/2 inches), providing a pleasurable, soft heat that helps to drive stored toxins out of the fat cells and into the sweat glands and bloodstream, where the body is able to excrete via sweat, urine, and stool. “Thanks for helping the healing process. My healed more quickly than the doctor expected. Thank you for your lazer therapy.”
-Cyndi H.
Lisa truly loves what she does and has a passion for helping others. When I got pregnant I knew that Lisa would be there for me to support me during this time.
I can say that my care helped me to feel good during my pregnancy and helped me tremendously during labor. Lisa was able to target each session based on my specific need, whether it was digestion trouble, round ligament pain, or back pain. I found that I was able to actually relax while laying flat comfortably on the pregnancy pillow, practice calm breathing, and visualization techniques. Lisa always knew exactly how to make me feel better. In addition to massage, Lisa helped with nutrition and supplements.
After my son was born, Lisa was there to teach us how to perform baby massage techniques. They have been a lifesaver when he is fussy and tired.
Lisa truly has an gift for helping others and supporting the body during many fazes of life. I am appreciative and grateful for her talents, kindness, knowledge, and love that she has given me and my family. I highly recommend that anyone who is pregnant consider seeing Lisa for a prenatal massage.
